The Nad Al Shiba Avian Reproduction Research Centre opened in the spring of 2001 and currently has 48 breeding chambers, 24 for natural pairs and 24 for imprints. A new imprint block consisting of 12 chambers is due for completion in 2001.

The centre is dedicated to the production of high quality falcons and to research into the captive breeding of falcons in a controlled environment.

Our breeding stock has been carefully selected from the finest falcons available world wide, with falcons coming from North America, Canada, United Kingdom, German, Austria, Iraq and Saudi Arabia

To maintain the falcons in the best possible health all breeding chambers have full environmental control. We are able to maintain temperature, humidity and photoperiod for each chamber.

The center has a sophisticated bio security system to prevent disease entering the facility and all our stock are vaccinated and undergo regular health checks. The centre has a state of the art incubation facility and uses the latest computer software to manage its incubation and all the breeding stock.
